## Frequently asked questions

### Is ReplyRep a good Chatfuel alternative?

For Instagram comment-to-DM, story replies, follow-gated DMs and email capture, yes, and it has a free plan. If you need one AI agent across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, Chatfuel covers channels ReplyRep does not.

### How is the pricing different?

Chatfuel Business is US$18 a month billed yearly, with unlimited contacts and AI credits included. ReplyRep is billed monthly by DM allowance: 2,000 free, then $10 for 10,000. Chatfuel's monthly-billed prices were not shown on its pricing page as of October 2026.

### Does Chatfuel have a free plan?

Not as of October 2026. Chatfuel lists a free trial on every plan with no card required instead. ReplyRep has a free plan with 2,000 DMs a month and no trial timer.

### How do I move my automations over?

Recreate each automation in ReplyRep: a post, a keyword and a message, which takes about four minutes. Switch the Chatfuel automation off on that post first so nobody gets two DMs, then comment on your own post to test it.

### Can I use ReplyRep for Instagram and keep Chatfuel for WhatsApp?

Yes. ReplyRep only connects to Instagram, so it can handle your comment-to-DM automations while Chatfuel keeps running other channels. Just make sure only one tool is automating any given Instagram post.
