What's included, what isn't, and when to upgrade." url: https://replyrep.io/features/free-instagram-auto-dm updated: 2026-10-19 --- # Free Instagram auto DM, with no trial timer ReplyRep's free plan sends 2,000 automated Instagram DMs a month on 1 account, free forever, no card and no trial timer. It includes comment to DM on posts, reels and stories, 5 Global Triggers, unlimited keywords per post and AI-generated triggers, on Meta's official API. Paid plans add public replies, follow gates, email capture and the viral-night queue. ## Is there a free Instagram auto DM tool? Yes. ReplyRep's Free plan is free forever, not a trial: 2,000 automated DMs every month, on one Instagram account, with no card required. It's built so you can watch a real DM land on your own post before you pay anything. It runs on the same official Meta API as the paid plans. ReplyRep is a Meta Business Partner, never asks for your Instagram password, and only messages people who interacted with you first. Free doesn't mean a riskier version. Free forever means the plan doesn't expire. Your 2,000 DMs reset every month, your automations keep running, and nothing switches off after a set number of days. The limits are the ones in the table below: one account, the monthly DM allowance, 5 Global Triggers and 30 days of data retention. It is meant to be used for real campaigns, not just a demo: plenty of small accounts never need more than one account and a few thousand DMs a month, and the Template Library gives you launch, giveaway and lead magnet templates to start from. ## What does the free plan include? - **2,000 automated DMs a month** on 1 Instagram account. - **Post, Reel & Story automation.** - **Default Triggers.** - **AI-generated triggers.** - **Engagement Starter.** - **Automate posts before you publish them.** - **5 Global Triggers**, plus unlimited keywords on individual posts. - **30 days** of data retention. - **The Template Library** for launches, giveaways and lead magnets. ## What does a free auto DM look like? **Free plan, lead magnet** - Comment keyword: GUIDE - DM: Hey {first_name}! The Free plan is free forever with 2,000 automated DMs a month on one Instagram account. There's no card required and no trial timer. Paid plans add more DMs, more accounts and the growth and viral-night features. ### Does the free plan work on reels and stories? Yes. Post, Reel & Story automation is on every plan, including Free, so keyword comments on posts and reels and replies to your stories all trigger the DM on the free plan. ### What happens if I go over the free DM limit? The free plan includes 2,000 DMs a month. If you regularly need more, Lite includes 10,000 for $10 a month. If you expect a spike, upgrade before the post goes live so the queue is ready. ### Is a free auto DM tool safe for my account? Safety comes from how a tool connects, not its price. ReplyRep's free plan uses Meta's official Instagram API, never asks for your password, and only messages people who interacted with you first, the same as every paid plan. ### Are there ReplyRep messages with branding on free? Yes. Messages on Free and Lite carry ReplyRep branding. Removing it starts on Boost and up, from $25 a month, which also adds priority support. For testing and small accounts, most people find the branding is a fair trade for a free plan. Last updated 2026-10-19. Source: https://replyrep.io/features/free-instagram-auto-dm
